The New School Free Press Logo Redesign

The New School Free Press is a student-run digital newspaper serving The New School's university-wide community. Bringing the student body the latest news and culture happening on campus and around New York City

The redesign

Originally The New School Free Press logo was an acronym reading "NSFP." This raised concern in clarity of who and what we were resulting in the redesign. The new design is all capsized in Avenir Next Bold. We often times found that rather than referring to The New School Free Press as "The New School Free Press," it was simply "The Free Press" upon conversation.

So are we The Free Press or The New School Free Press? The new logo would allow for both, hence the lighter grey tone of 'New School'.
